A/prof Rajamani is Cardiologist with a sub-specialty training in heart rhythm disorders (Cardiac Electrophysiologist). He has had an extensive international training background in Europe, Australia and USA. He completed medical school in 2003, obtaining an honours degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. After completing his internship he relocated to Australia. He completed his basic and advanced physician training in Cardiology at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney in 2011.
Thereafter he pursued his PhD studies in diabetes and cardiovascular disease at the Heart Research Institute, Sydney. He undertook a year of clinical fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Westmead Hospital, Sydney and proceeded to the Cleveland Clinic, USA to obtain a further 2 years of training in this field. He has performed more than 2000 ablation procedures, implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation therapy devices. He provides a high standard of care in both general cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology.
