Dr Anitha Karunairajah is a General & Breast Surgeon, specialising in Breast Oncoplastic Surgery, and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and member of BreastSurgANZ.

Having completed her medical degree in Scotland and General Surgery training in Queensland, she finished a 2 year BreastSurgANZ Fellowship in Breast & Oncoplastic Surgery here in Perth & in Melbourne.

She currently is the Head of Department of the Breast Centre at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Her role includes being a specialist Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon as well as an acute General Surgeon. She is actively involved in teaching, research and training of junior doctors.
