Dr Clifford was born and raised in Perth and completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at UWA in 2006. She started working in the field of Gynaecology in 2009 where she was inspired to continue in a career dedicated to women's health. She completed a Masters in Reproductive Medicine in 2017 and was awarded her Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2019. Her interests include but are not limited to treating women with: abnormal vaginal bleeding; abnormal cervical screening tests; hormonal imbalance; perimenopausal issues; reproductive issues; vulval disorders; and pelvic pain.
