Dr Lasanthini Weerakkody is an Oral Medicine Specialist with expertise in the diagnosis and management of oral and orofacial diseases and disorders. Her clinical practice spans Oral Diseases, Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University in Queensland before undertaking specialist training in Oral Medicine at the University of Western Australia. During her specialist training, Dr Weerakkody engaged in clinical practice at the Oral Medicine Clinic at the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia, along with rotations at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth Children’s Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital.
