MBChB, FRACS, FAOrthA
I trained in Medicine at the University of Cape Town before pursuing a surgical career, initially training was in the United Kingdom ( FRCS (Edinburgh) in 1999), then moving to Australia where I specialized in orthopaedic surgery in Perth, finishing in 2005.
I am fortunate to have trained in most of the English-speaking world, including a very interesting six months in the USA.
My main areas of interest are now hip, knee and shoulder surgery, both replacement and arthroscopy. This includes anterior replacement of the hip, computer-assisted knee replacement, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and hip arthroscopy.
I am always happy to consult country patients remotely via telehealth or Skype.
I am currently Head of Department of Orthopaedics at Armadale Hospital (public work), where I have worked since 2006.
