Dr. Nely Shrestha Khatri is a Consultant Endocrinologist at Royal Perth Hospital and Rockingham General Hospital. She undertook endocrinology advanced training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital. She underwent further training in obstetric medicine and endocrine disorders in pregnancy at King Edward Memorial Hospital. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in Endocrinology in 2018 and Obstetric Medicine Certificate by the Society of Obstetric Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (SOMANZ) in 2019.
She provides care for patients with general endocrine disorders including T1DM, T2DM, thyroid, adrenal and pituitary disease. She has special interest in women’s health, including preconception counselling in women with diabetes and endocrine disorders, menstrual disturbance, menopausal symptoms, osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases.
